Its a Blizzard !! .... spot the alpacas.
The view out of the window....this afternoon.Will this weather ever end !....
Today I woke up to a sunny morning, so I decided to put the alpacas out for the day. Mind you no sooner had I got them out the weather decided to change !
Yes, you've guessed it............snow. Massive clouds dumped even more snow this afternoon. So we are once again under an ever increasing white blanket. The alpacas decided to sit it out ! I decided to leave them out in the hope that it was a passing snow storm. Eventually it did stop after a little while.
We are back tucked up in bed tonight, the evening forecast is yet again.....more snow. You don't know just how lucky you are to be enjoying a snow free location. It doesn't stop here, after the snow, its the thaw......which makes such a mess.... roll on the spring.
Mind you, I'm not blocked in just yet !!! Lets hope it stays that way.

It started here about 7.45am and lasted all morning, thankfully most of it has thawed though this afternoon.
This is obviously an exceptoinal winter, even down here - we typically get an inch on one day of the winter, so you can see why were were delighted to get a real snowfall! It's rained all day here today. How much snow do you typically get each winter? Hang in there, spring IS coming closer every day.
Lots of snow here as well, but it's to be expected. Snow brings beauty to an otherwise grey and dreary time of the year. Looking forward to spring and summer, though :-)
We're the same. More new snow on old stuff. It is milder today though, about 3C. Alpacas have not seen grass for quite some time!
